I have a John Robert Mccombe ( born 1902 ) in Walton Liverpool. His father John James Mccombe died in 1915 in South Africa( would that be to do with the Boer War? ) I am wondering if he ( John Robert) returned with his mother Anne Jane ( formerley Clucas) to the Isle of Man. Any info re: John Robert would be great.
