Dear Ms. Douglas,
Thank you for replying and thank you for sharing, for you are absolutely right. Your genealogy skills are excellant and I must commend you, for you have done your homework and the board, as now I can see has not one of amatuer status, but of seasoned works, for now I shall ask your forgivness. For you have done extensive works on the CAIN/E lines that is quite impressive.
It is sorrowful on my part that you are not in our line or any Manx line, for you have the fortitude of a MANX.
I wanted to see how the line went back to ADAM, and you have the same AS I HAD, Eleanor, was a link that I knew had to feed back to ADAM through our line, and I would like more of the line, for to dangle a piece of fruit as this, one bite is not enough, the whole piece has to be partaken of.
I am amazed at both you and Ms. Coakley your works of volunteerism and all board volunteers, give this board an amazing advantage over the paid genealogists, for where could you go to find so much for the love of research for the patrons who post on this board, so it makes me even more thankful ,even though my Manx blood can cause heated debates on my line.
I have contacted a for hire genealogist. She is presently leaving for holiday, on her return she will work on ADAMS' PATRICKS,' for which I feel may be as Ms. Coakley has surmized that our PATRICK may be of JOHN AND ANNE CORLET MARRIGAE, which John married an ANNE CORLETT, perhaps in 2003 as I stated to Ms. Coakley wills, deeds and etc, etc, may not have been transcribed,so the data was not their for the taking to do the line rightfully, so perhaps that shall the the magic bullet, but all lead back to WILLIAM CAINE, 1600 at MICHAEL, and many of the women did marry outside their Parishes.
Now with what you have given and what I had the two came together perfectly, so now the rest of the story. I would ask if the 16 families that left BALLAUGH and went to KIRK MICHAEL and were told to return and worship back at the Parish, would not those families have their records at both PARISHES, so that there could be double sets of records for the CAIN/E lines that went to both Parishes. Would not that be a problem researching this line for validity of the marriages, births, deaths, never was there a discussion of their length of worship from one parish to the other and back. Would there would such data, because PHILIP off ADAM OF MICHAEL IS BURIED AT BALLAUGH, Ms. Coakley states that perhaps in the transtion of returning or due to the closeness of the Parish, PHILIP was buried at BALLAUGH, but yet all other CAINE's are buried at MICHAEL. Still there is conflict.
Eleanor was the line of the choice to go back for me, something kept tellling me this, so now the puzzle is coming together, we had this data, but I wanted a second mind and research and you have jelled the solidity of her back to ADAM through her marriage.
Thank you and yes, I would like more of the line, but I believe in your works you have made great contributions in the CAIN/E line, and to take one family line and specialize is very commendable.
Kindly yours,
Mrs. Rosa
