Looking at Brian Lawson's indices for 1841 have found John 40, Esther 35, Ann 10. All from Patrick and registered under the reference 1465/10 23 12. No sign of the younger John. I do not have access to the census, but perhaps someone that does may very kindly check this reference for you.
