Hi Further to the post for Mary Kneen
Could someone please have a look and tell me if I am on the right track

Mary Kneen married John Corkhill 18/6/1805 in Ballaugh I have traced John's parents through the IGI and Frances CD Rom

John Corkill 1784 Kirk Michael to Thomas Corkill & Joney or Jane Garrett married 4/5/1782 (CD)

Thomas Corkill 13/4/1760 to James Corkill and Isabel Lace ( Frances has made a note.? marr)

Joney Garrett 24/4/1763 to Dollin Garrett and Ann Quirk married 21/6/1760 (CD)

according to the CD there was a marriage between James Corkill and Isabel CANNELL 1/5/1759 Frances made a note (IC wdw both lic)

and a marriage between Isabel LACE and William Cannell 6/3/1753
I have found a transcription of the will for William Cannell in which there is mention of his wife Isabel who has since married James Corkill
So they are definately the same people but why was Thomas registered with his Mothers maiden name LACE?
The will has given a mine of other information for me to go on if I have the right parents of John Corkill

So I really need some confirmation of my results so I can carry on

Also are there any MI's in Kirk Michael for any of the above
