Thanks to davidr! My Grandmother was born Elizabeth Clarke! I believe that she worked as a singer/entertainer on the Ferries to the UK! She was unmarried and became pregnant and went/was sent to Family (Aunt? who was married to a Duncan) in Doncaster to give birth to my Mother, which she did on the 13th of June 1923! The Duncans i believe returned to the IOM upon retiring! What happened to Elizabeth Clarke???? The Duncans??? Any Help would be most gratefully recieved!! mbhomer@post3.tele.dk
