David being unmarried would make sense as I can't find ANY marriage record! I know also that his brother William was unmarried at time of death. His TWIN brother John however married Mary Sweeney and I have just discovered a large family for them.

One query though....I have David Leece who married Hester/Esther Caine as having parents John Leece and Elinor Clague. I will have to go through my paperwork but I'm sure that came from a will on manxnotebook...I could be wrong though!
