My research for the MER book has gone very well, and the Barnes look up a while back was a fantastic help. I have also been researching into Frank Edmondson who was chief engineer from 1902 to 1907, and general manager from 1907 to 1936.

Frank Edmondson was buried at Braddan on 26 January 1936, aged 60, his wife, Florence Mary, surviving him by 20 years, being buried ta Braddan on 5 May 1956.

Florence Mary Tambaci had been born in India probably in Calculla in 1878, her father Caralambros Tambaci being a junior partner in the family business, Paul Caralambros & Son.
Her mother, also Florence, was just 16 years old and had been born in India as well to a family of the Raj, but as yet unknown.
