In the name of God Amen.
I William Cowley of Ballakilley Clue in the parish of KK Michael being of
sound mind memory and understanding make this my last will and testament in
manner as followeth:
First I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian burial.
I leave and bequeath to my six children namely John, Catherine,
Elizabeth, Margaret, Elinor and William Cowley the sum of one pound
each as legacy.
I leave and bequeath all the rest and residue of my goods chattels and
effects whether moveable or immovable to my dear wife Catherine
Cowley at the same time I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint her the
said Catherine Cowley my wife sole executrix of this my last will debarring
all claimants in this my last will with one shilling legacy.
As witness my subscription this tenth day of June one thousand eight hundred
and fifty four- June 10th 1854.

Catherine Cowley widow sworn with pledges John Quiggin of
Ballameanagh and William Caine of Ballacorleod both in the parish of

Elizabeth Jane Cowley and husband William Christian received one pound
16 Jun 1865.
William Quiggin and Catherine Cowley Quiggin rec'd one pound 22 Feb
1864.
James Hannah and Eleanor Hannah received 17 Dec 1863 one pound. Margaret A.
Cowley received one pound 17th Dec 1863.
