Gravestone of my 2x great grandparents reads - In loving memory of WILLIAM QUIRK of Peel who departed this life 22nd Nov 1860 aged 39 years also CATHERINE beloved wife of the above who died 25th October 1885 aged 62 years .......
William Quirk married Catharine Quirk 5th April 1845 Patrick - his father was John Quirk, labourer Patrick, her father was William Quirk, labourer Patrick. I am fairly sure William's parents were John Quirk who married Ann Corlett 29 Feb 1812 but am having trouble with Catharine. Best I can find is William Quirk married Elizabeth Shimmin 15 June 1819 Patrick -
