In memory of the following children of Edward and Elizabeth Cain formerly of Douglas/William who died March 21st 1836/aged 22 months/William who died May 7th 1840 aged 1 week/Isabella Frances who died August 9th 1841/aged 3 months/John who died February 12th 1850 aged 22 years/Joseph who died May 15th 1850/aged 7 years and 6 months/Alice who died May 7th 1851 aged 6 years/also in memory of the above named Edward Cain/who died at Bay View in this parish April 3rd 1879/aged 77 years/also Elizabeth,relict of the above Edward Cain/who died September 2nd 1888 aged 81 years/also/In Loving Memory of Robert Cain/son of the above who departed this life/February 25th 1905 in his 66th year.
