Lots of work done last night.... burning the midnight oil (01:30 to be exact)
After usung my software to check the site, it found 189 broken links and 444 orphaned files, so a lot of work to be done.
Broken links are now down to 111, and these are all return links from will transcriptions, so should not affect finding a transcription. I hope to have these links repaired by the weekend, slow work, but it is the same fault (so far) in each file, also I'm changing the menu buttons at the same time to reflect new site structure.
I'm hoping that some of the "missing" dtat that we have all experienced may be found in the 444 orphabned files. Some of these are mailnly due to when pages had been reconstructed and the old files had not been deleted.
If anyone out thhere is good with HTML, could they have a look at the latest will (1904-013 Mary Ann Black) to see why all the text is acting as a link, as I can't find what's causing it. Once that is sorted I will carry on uploading transcriptions.
