Stillbirth certs. are provided by the Dr / Hospital &
the parent has always had to visit the Registry. The
special ledger is not available for public viewing in any event while parents are alive afterwards siblings can provide certs to that effect ,prove kinship etc. & gain access. In the
pastI think a normal funeral was not permitted once but this is
the norm nowadays. I believe at the second Jane Crookall
opened 1939 there was a special little graveyard for these
sad events & so perhaps it's just as well when JCMH moved to
Noble's the property remained in DHSS use.
