Just found your message after being on holiday.

George Henry Randolph Havercroft was a business partner of my husband and they had an engineering firm in Peel for many years.He is probably about 65 plus now, it was his father (also a George) who was the schoolteacher at Ramsey grammar school, he died in the late seventies I think.

George junior latterly was coroner for Middle in the Isle of Man he married a Philipino girl, "Luce" and has now retired to the Phillipines to live.

There is a G.H.R.. Havercroft in the phone directory, this we think is the number of George's transport firm, now we think run by his son(s) from his first wife.
