I've been searching for the burial/death of my great-great-grandmother Eleanor Collister. I know she was born around 1837 and died some time between 1872 and 1881.

I have checked the index of burials on this site and there is no-one of the right age/time (Callister or Collister). However, the BMDs on www.manxbmd.com show an Ellen Callister died in Douglas in 1879 aged 43.

Is there any reason why this death would not have resulted in an entry in the burial index?
