Bit of a query over Earnest - 1901 census definitely has Earnest, daughter aged 9. I also had this verified in the Isle of Man by Priscilla Lewthwaite. The births list has Ernest Edgar b 21 April 1892.
My father's cousin remembered there being two sons, one of whom was a teacher and it seems neither married. Quite whether Earnest was male or femail now lies in question!
