Have just been mapping your info into mine and realised there may be an error in your fourth generation, point 8 Hugh Joseph Stowell bp 1768 as the father of Thomas Stowell, surgeon and married to Elizabeth LaMothe. I have Hugh as Joseph (1772-1801)'s younger brother. Joseph married elizabeth LaMothe and Hugh married Amelia Callow. This links to another response by JC earlier today nearer the top of the board. Does this make sense?
