There were other children recorded for this family including Edith 1879 in Douglas. She is also missing and raises the question of birth deaths.

The family came from Liverpool where William Riley married Jane Russell at St Andrews Church 1873.

Jane appears to be the daughter of John Russell ( retired licensed victualler) and Eleanor Martin. They can be seen with some family in 1881 living in Devon St. off Islington.

There is the possibility than Jane died in Liverpool.
