He was born 1886 one of eleven children to William Faragher and Jane Moore from Surby Rushen.

He first married Mary Watterson in 1907 then Edith Cowley nee Moughtin.

Both Frederick and Edith lived on the Calf of Man as Wardens.

There is some reference to them in a typescript called ' The Faraghers of the Ayres 'written by Douglas Fargher and researched by Constance Radcliffe that is lodged in the Manx Museum.
