Thanks Clive, I recognise this information as a road I've already been down before! Confusingly there are 2 Daniel Corletts, one b.1870 s/o Daniel Corlett (b.1830) and m Myra Bannan. The other (my gt-gt-grandfather) b.1859 s/o William Corlett (b.1834) and m Clara Healis/Heelis/Hales/Heller/Ealing. The clue (I discovered later) is in the consistency of the occupations throughout the censuses.

I also thought for a long time that Clara E.J. Heelas was my gt-gt-grandmother before realising that this Clara married in London in 1896.

You can see the problems that I have had trying to trace this branch of my family! But many thanks for all your work, it's greatly appreciated.
