I was clutching at straws to see if I could find a link between the Cunninghams and the McQuiggin/McVeys to try and account for why Frances Cunningham born about 1900 was adopted by Eleanor McQuiggin nee McVey - as in the 1901 census. First step was to try and identify her, and I wondered if she was the Fanny Cunningham in Brian's index born 17 Mar 1900 Dou daughter of Nicholas Cunningham & Catherine McMullen. I found other Cunningham children in the 1901 census and in Brian's burial register.
