I am trying to see if I can find any record of James marriage to Isabella. James is my 2x great grandfather who was married to Isabella and we think she was from Edinburgh. However I have found in the Familysearch.org site a record for a marriage between a James Cottier and Isabella Telford on 27/12/1842 at Braddan. Now I am wondering if this could be the right one since Telford is a name passed down the generations in my family. Could it be that this is the correct marriage and how do I find out if this is the right Isabella?
