I am trying to find out about Jane Callister, who was my Grandmothers' mother. I believe from my childhood recolections, that they came from near the Point of Eyre. Jane became pregnant, by a soldier Charles Edwards. He was posted to India but came back for Jane some five or six years later, this was when they married. Jane was working in a Hotel in Douglas at the time of Gran's Birth.I have her Birth Cert. Jane returned to her beloved Island later in life and died there. If there is anyone who can help me with more info I would be most grateful. Thanks Jo
