For the record: I've checked out the William Lyall who married Sarita Cresswell in L'pool in 1934 - this turns out to be William Albert Lyall, not William Alltree Lyall. I'm not sure yet where William Albert fits into the family (if at all). William Albert was born in the last quaretr of 1900 (certificate 8b 626).
