I guess he can be whatever he wants, right!

My lovely dad sends me the Manx examiner weekly since we moved out here to BC 13 years ago and I read last week that Mr. Blair may well be visiting the Island next Spring on official business, maybe he will find a moment to take in some of his wonderful rich heritage, maybe he won't. If he chooses the later it will be his loss not ours, am I right?

In the end, we all know that there is a whole lot of pride in having a Manx ancestry, just look at the world wide interest in trying to connect to the Island in some way. I am extremly thankful for my heritage and miss my Island but I also recognize the contribution that us Manxies have made in this big world of ours and I am daily amazed as I roam the net finding new connections. Maybe I can make some small contribution that will encourage my descendents in years to come, I hope so.

As for Mr. Blair, he knows, that is the main thing. After all, you can take a horse to water, show him how to drink but he has to decide whether or not to lap!
