Arnold Callin lives in the District Of Onchan in the Isle of Man. During his working career he was involved in the marketing of farm produce.

He was a member of the Onchan Village Comissioners for many years and eventually became its Chairman, the equivalent of the chief citizen. He then stood for the House of Keys, the elected house of the Isle of Man Government, the Tynwald. In due course he was appointed to the Legislative Council which is the upper chamber of Tynwald.

Arnold is a much respected member of not only his community but of the government of the Isle of Man.
