My Gt Grandfather was Richard James Qualtrough. I have an old photograph about 1900, taken in Douglas with his brother Henry, father Richard and another. They all have string instruments and on the back of the photo is written 'The Qualtrough String Quartet. I would welcome any comments / info on this. Or any otherinformation on Richard and his family. In his retirement Richard moved back to the IOM from Liverpool and lived in Falcon Cliff cottages in Douglas.
