I would suggest to you that there are proper channels to go through for what you want. I am not sure exactly what they are, but I think the Salvation Army may be able to help. If not, then you should perhaps try adoption agencies, such as Manx Fhurches Adoption, Fostering and Welfare Society, 3 Albany Lane, Douglas, phone 01624 625161, who will at least be able to advise you. I believe the reasons are manyfold.
