In the late 1920's & early 1930's my grandfather used to visit the Isle of Man each year to visit relatives. He was brought up on the island.

My mother tells me that he stayed with a family who had Funeral cars or Taxi's. It may have been Douglas or Ramsey. My Grandfather was Jabez Pendlebury, his parents were Pendlebury's living in Douglas & his mothers family were Stuarts from Ramsey.

Would anyone know of any Taxi or Funeral directors in the 1920-30 years in either Douglas or Ramsey?
