Seeing latest messages re: your James Hughes being 3 or 2 years old in 1891 I doubt he would be recorded in the mariners clip CD. not unless he went to sea in his teen's.

The C.D. covers years 1863 to 1913, sorry if I mislead you in my earlier findings on the Manx Genealogy Board message.
