John James Gale born 1874 Douglas, he was a fireman on the Ben-my-Chree. His previous ship was same Ben-my-Chree. The source ref: 67288 IOM I.D# 091277. this list started 1898. (I presume after his apprenticship)

From my records this would have been the Ben-my-chree 2 as she was launched 1875 and was in service for thirty plus years.
