I am researching my family history. I believe my ancestor is Mathias Crowe b. 1747, Lezaryre, m. Catherine Cannon 29 Sep 1770, Kirk Michael. Mathias father is William Crowe. I have searched through Family Search and found 14 different records for William Crowe christened in Lezayre between 1700 and 1727, each with different parents or birthdates listed. Could anyone tell me how to determine who is my ancestor?
