I am researching the family of George MAVER baptised 03/02/1856 Kirk German (shown as MEAVERS on the IGI). He was the son of William MAVER, a confectioner from Scotland and Sarah SAYLE born circa 1834/1835 on the Isle of Man. By 1859 the family had moved to Liverpool. I have not yet been able to trace a marriage between Sarah and William. As far as I can tell George was their first child.
