As always, I would very much appreciate any additions or corrections to the information below. It is my plan to submit the final Pioneer compilation, with all contributors credited, to the appropriate historical and genealogical libraries.
(1) 1850 Warrensville census #3350: Hugh G. Caine (?) 32 lawyer IOM; John 35 farmer IOM; Ann 32 IOM; William 12 Ohio; John 10 Ohio; Hugh 8 Ohio; Henry 5 Ohio; Isabel 2 Ohio; Frederick Kimberly 15 England.
I can't seem to find any information about this family. (Perhaps the name isn't Caine; I may have misread the census page.) I suspect that Hugh and John are brothers. From the births of the children, I inferred that John and Ann were the parents, and possibly married in Ohio; however, they could have married in IOM and immigrated right after their marriage.
I did not find them in the 1860 Cuyahoga County census.
Does anyone recognize the names?
