Collister / Brew

It would seem that my Grandmother, Julia Brew, gave birth to a child (gender not known) descibed End August 1906 as being 10 weeks old.
On 1st. September, 1906, by order of the Court, this child was placed in the care of a Mrs. Collister, until it was 16 years old.

Does anyone have any knowledge of a Mrs. Collister who fostered children or any knowledge of this 'Brew' child ?
