Thanks so much Barbara. That sorts that out, but the Dorothy I had in mind according to the IGI married a Thomas. I will however continue to check. Does one presume that there were no children of this marriage? How does one obtain a copy of the 1871 Census (barring on Fische as I don't have a reader).
