The full marriage certificates with father's name came in generally in 1849, but in Lonan the Vicar got hold of an English Register earlier - at least 10 years I think, and was happily providing all the extra information required. It is rather amusing that under 'condition' instead of 'Widowed', 'Unmarried' or whatever, he commented on financial circumstances e.g. 'in comfotable circumstances' or whatever. Worth having a look.
