A month or so ago I asked whether anyone had any information re the Cowley family of The Close, Marown. I was looking for information on either the family , or references to the farmstead itself - I am interested in both. A number of you very kindly responded with all sorts of information and reference material. Unfortunately, I recently had PC problems and had to wipe the disc clean (not a virus!!). I had not backed up any of this material, so have lost everything (let this be a warning to all out there who do not back up regularly!!). If there is anyone out there who can help me start to put the information back together again I would be most grateful. I will back up this time - lesson learned!!!
