I have ben thinking about your Hugh KERRUISH brick wall and decided to TRY and help you find him/family on the IGI, which given that you have been searching for 12 years you have probably found this one already:0))
I have tried from the dates of 1850 - 1920 for I.O.M and all of UK and these names below were the ONLY ones that came up within your timescale, NONE in UK on IGI. I found no reference to a Francis anywhere.
