I went to the Manx Museum last summer and tried to find a cutting of a photo taken by the newspapers when my Mum had been Crowned the "Coronation Queen" in 1932.
I was told that there had been a very large fire at the I.O.M Newspaper Offices several years later and that most of their archives for that and other years had been lost.
