Ottakars's is undertaking the most exciting local history project ever. We are looking for the most lively and interesting local history stories from The Isle of Man. We will be publishing the best pieces in an extraordinary book that will chronicle the Island's history in a unique and personal way. If you have an interest in the Isle of Man and would like to have a piece of you history writing published then this is the perfect opportunity.

Writers of the best three pieces, according to the judges will each win £200. These together with the best other pieces will be published in a book in November 2002.
