I have recently started researching the family of Thomas Quane Jr. of Ballahutchin, Kirk Patrick. He appears to have married three times.
First wife was Catherine Quirk dau. of Thomas Quirk of Borrain. Marriage Jan 28 1769 at Patrick. Catherine died and was buried at Patrick Aug 24 1774. One surviving son John Quane. First born son Thomas died 1773.
Second wife was Esther or Hester Key dau. of Gilbert Key of Patrick. Marriage date Dec 21 1776. Esther buried at Patrick Jul 14 1779. One son Charles b. 1777.
Third wife was Esther Quay dau of Henry Quay of Patrick. Marriage date May 4 1784 at Patrick. Children, Thomas b. 1785 and Jane b. 1787 both Patrick.
