I am descended from Thomas Corlett and Elizabeth nee Cowley who came from Andreas but their children were born in Maughold/Ramsey.
Thomas was baptised 12.4.1819, born to Thomas Corlett and Mary Radcliffe, in Andreas. I cannot find out which of three Elizabeth Cowleys born 1819/20 is the correct one. They were married 30.7.1838, both under age, but their parents' names are not given on the certificate. Their children were as follows:
Elizabeth Anna, bapt. 24.2.1840 (married George Jones)
Thomas bapt. 19.4.2842 (died 17.7.1842)
Catherine Jane bapt. 24.11.1844
Emily born 1847 (died 17.12.1850)
John James (my ggrandfather) bapt. 17.2.1850
Jane Anne (died 16.10.1861 aged 6 weeks)
Eva Eliza bapt. 19.10.1856
Thomas Edward bapt 6.2.1859
Emily Fertia bapt 29.9.1861
Richard Radcliffe bapt. 20.12.1863.

Thomas senior died 5.5.1866 aged 46. He was a customs officer. He was buried in Maughold cemetery with the children who died young.
Elizabeth went to live in Manchester after 1871 census with John, Eva, Thomas, Emily and Richard. She died 7.12.1874 aged 54 of chronic bronchitis, with John James present at the birth.
