An Internet search has yielded this painting which at one time was for sale on an auction site:

Oil painting on board signed John Thomas Peele (J. T. Peele pinxt 1845) "The Orange Girl", inscribed on rear "The Orange Girl painted by J. T. Peele and presented by him to his brother Robert Isle of Man August 29th 1858", 12-1/2" high x 9-1/2" wide. Ref: Sotheby's, 1992.

My great grandfather JOHN THOMAS PEELE lived on the Isle of Man with his wife Sarah, daughter Laura and son Elliot for a period of approximately 10 years, covering August 29, 1858 when he gifted his younger brother Robert with "The Orange Girl".

If anyone has any information -- or can direct me to where I might be able to find information -- I would be most appreciative.
