I dont know if anybody out there can help me at all but I am trying to trace my great grandfather a Edward Brew from German whom I am led to believe was a policeman from German but I have no way of checking this out or backing it up if anybody has any ideas would be greatly appreciated. He was born approx 1880/1881 according to 1891 census he had at least three brothers William, Thomas and Richard mother Elizabeth from German father Thomas a labourer from Jurby. I think he died young maybe in line of duty, but again have no verification please help!! Thanks Emma
