Hello, I am interested in finding out when Evan CORKILL and Elizabeth ____ were married, and where they were married. It has been suggested that Evan was born on the IOM in 1827, and possibly had John CORKILL as his father.

In 1859, Evan and Elizabeth had a daughter, Mary, and had 4 additional children from then until 1871, all born in Liverpool, England.

On the marriage certificate of Mary, she stated that her father was a Master Mariner.

I believe that Mrs. Elizabeth Corkill might have died in 1873, as that is when their 5 children went to live in the Liverpool Sheltering Homes. Mr. Evan Corkill might have lived another 10 years.
