I have recently come into the possession of a photograph of my Grandmother’s parents and some of their other children.

My grandmother is not on the photograph so it was obviously taken sometime prior to 1896 when she was born. I also believe that there is a male child on the photograph. The only male child I am aware my Great-Grandparents had died at the age of 4 years and 1 month on 20 September 1880, according to the gravestone at Braddan Cemetery.

The photographer was an A HULME of 6 Finch Road, Douglas, Isle of Man.

Would anyone have any knowledge of when this photographer was in business so that I can date the photograph more accurately?
