Sorry to mislead you John but McKane is my married name. I'm researching a branch on my Dad's side of the family. My ancestor was a Thomas Arthur Corlett born in Ramsey 1826. His father cut him out of his will as far as I know but from what you say it might be worth searching for a will anyway as he may have bought property in his own name there.
