Thanks for answering my msg. I have been trying to get a match on when the Kermode member/members left the IOM and went to America. I have a James Kermode that married Sarah Rossman sometime around 1835/45. I heard they may have met on the ship comming over and married while aboard. They may have landed in the Buffalo, Erie County, New York area and could have worked on the building of the Erie canal. I was also given information on the Kermode line going back to 1600 where the Kermode name comes from Kewitt or something like that. I would really appreciate anything you can send on the family line. I have been doing research about 20 years and any data is welcome. Thanks Keith
