Janet, I chanced on your query through its Berwick-upon-Tweed connection (I'm a Freeman there, too).The 1915 Roll of Freemen of Berwick shows that your Wilfred Weston Forsyth, 4th surviving Son of Charles and described as a Farmer of Ontario, Canada was admitted on12th Nov 1907 (by when he must have attained the age of 21). He re-appears in the 1961 Roll, so was presumably still alive then.

Wilfred's father Charles; his uncle Alexander Wood; his brothers William, Charles and William Henry; and his nephews Richard Charles Neild and David Hugh Stafford Forsyth are all in the Roll - so, if you would like details, just let me know.
