Pantaleon Minay married Francesca Jabat, raised a few sons and daughters, and mostly lived in Oriental Mindoro, a southern island off Luzon. Pantaleon died in mid-1970, Francesca in mid-1980. There are relations living in Marinduque Island and in Occidental Mindoro but are not directly in line with Pantaleon's genealogy.

Pantaleon would have been the second generation of what I could gather the origin of Minay in the country in the 1800s around the time when the Spaniards colonized the country. There were the presence of French, Portuguese and other Sth American nationals in the 1800s in the country.

It has been a challenge to find out how this era could give more light to the existence of Minay in Asia and some European countries.
